What is our Drop Ship Program?
By using our Drop Ship Program, you will have access to our complete wholesale inventory of designer, genuine fragrances, makeup, skincare, haircare, aromatherapy and candles. We offer state-of-the-art fulfillment capabilities. Our name (The Scents South Africa or Thescents.co.za) will not appear in or on the shipping carton.
For Shipping within South Africa:
Shipping charges begin at R90, each additional item attracts an additional R50 shipping charge.
For shipping within the United State:
Shipping charges begin at $10 (or it's equivalent in your local currency), each additional item attracts an additional $5 shipping charge.
International shipping rates vary upon weight, customs policies, as well as destination country.
A shipping calculator will be provided at the time the order is placed.
How to order
Once registered, all orders are placed on our website at Thescents.co.za. All of your financial information is protected by our Secure Server Software (SSL) which fully encrypts (credit card information, bank account information) so that it cannot be read by anyone over the internet, not even our employees!
All orders are shipped via a trackable shipping carrier (DHL, UPS, SAPO, POSTNET, USPS, etc.).
The Scents South Africa will supply a tracking number for every order that has been shipped. Each day, you will receive an automated email from us indicating all of your orders that have been shipped that day.
Orders are shipped, on average, within 24-48 business hours from the time that the order is placed. Therefore, most orders should be received within 2-5 business days from the time that you place your order (except for international orders which may take between 5-21 business days.
1) Credit card: we accept all major credit cards. There is an area on our site whereby you can give us your credit card information to use for all of your drop ship orders.
2) EFT: we accept electronic Fund Transfer from all South African Banks (Nedbank, FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA, Capitec) which is processed and authorized instantly. Unfortunately, this service is limited only to out South African customers only.
The Scents South Africa carries in excess of 10,000 genuine brand name fragrances, skincare, hair-care, aromatherapy and candles that you can feature in your store or on your website. To ensure that the products you are featuring is available and in-stock, please contact our customer service or visit our website Thescents.co.za to verify the availability of a product before confirming to your customers.
Please provide us in email with the name of the product you would like to inquiring about and our customer service representative would be more than glad to assist you with the following information:
- Name of the fragrance and gender.
- Picture and product description (if available).
- Our Price and suggested selling price.
Inventory is updated daily with new products added every day. Consequently, products are taken out of our inventory when they are no longer available. Therefore, to minimize the likelihood of any out of stocks, we recommend that our drop shippers update their inventory daily with us.
Returns are accepted and further information will be supplied upon registration.
Cancel Your Order
Since we use automated order processing and warehousing system, we are unable to cancel or modify your order once it has been submitted. Once your package is received and you wish to return it, please visit our website and review our return policy.
The Scents South Africa is not responsible for fraudulent orders. It is the responsibility of our customers to verify billing information before placing the order.
It is the responsibility of the drop shipper to charge state tax for any package that is being shipped to the state to which they are based. It is also the responsibility of the drop shipper to charge South African tax to any package of theirs that is being shipped to or within South Africa because The Scents South Africa is based in South Africa.
Out of Stock Items
If an item is not on our website, we do not currently have it in stock. Subsequently, from time to time, we are not able to fulfill your order. You will be notified via email for any item that is out of stock and a credit will be issued to your account/credit card. It is your responsibility to contact and credit your customer.
